Gilead Sciences BeLux is committed to support breast cancer research that is indespensible to advance medical science and will ultimately improve patient care. Hence, for 2024 Gilead Sciences BeLux will grant two Breast cancer Research Awards – € 35.000 and € 25.000 – to encourage and support innovative basic or translational research projects specifically focused on breast cancer*. The 2 awardees will be selected by an independent expert committee and Gilead Sciences BeLux will not take part in the decision process.
Gilead Sciences BeLux invites health care professionals who are linked to a hospital, a network of hospitals, a university, a certified medical centre or a registered scientific society in Belgium or Luxembourg to submit a project which meets the required criteria (for details please consult the provided document stating the Rules).
Applications can be submitted as of 12 September 2023 until 11 December 2023. All projects must be submitted in English via email to GileadBCResearchAwards@gilead.com. Projects submitted by postal mail or other channels will not qualify. In addition to the completed application form, the following documents should be submitted: candidate’s CV, motivation letter, publication list and promotor’s support letter.
